Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-po - a learning place where knowledge is sought, maintained and dispersed. Known in short as Te Takere, the Horowhenua Culture and Community Centre, is the heart and hub that brings together library services and facilities for our community, business, youth and tourism.

Te Takere is looking for a dynamic professional administrator who has a knack for process development and implementation, and is committed to providing exceptional support to management and senior staff.

As the successful applicant you will demonstrate high quality, efficient and comprehensive administrative and process-driven talent.

As the ideal candidate, you will have at least two to five years’ experience as an Administration Professional, including financial systems and processing experience. A qualification in Business Administration and/or experience in financial administration will be highly advantageous.  

This is a fixed term, part time position (25 hours per week) to provide assistance with the implementation and review of financial reporting, payroll time and attendance administration and general administrative processes, prior to 1 July 2017 while we are currently reviewing our business needs. The role is available for an immediate start through to 30 June 2017.
