Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō and Shannon Library will be closed on Thursday 25 April for ANZAC Day.

Join us for a week-long celebration of vibrant cultures unique to Pacific Island nations these school holidays, from 10am to 2pm daily. This diverse programme offers a range of activities for young people (12 – 24 yo) in our community: 

  • Weaving 
  • Lei making
  • Tapa cloth printing
  • Cloth making
  • Traditional stick games
  • Dance, poetry, music and skits
  • Sports
  • Cooking.

The week will end with a celebration and performances from 1:00pm on Friday.

All activities are free. No bookings required.
