Skinny JUMP

Skinny JUMP (previously Spark JUMP) is a programme designed to assist more New Zealanders to be able to access affordable broadband at home.

Skinny Jump is a highly flexible prepaid broadband scheme, offering 35GB of data for just $5, a quarter of the prices of the cheapest commercial services available. There’s no contracts or credit checks, and the modem comes free of charge. You can top up as you go, with up to 6 plan renewals per month.  

The eligibility criteria for JUMP has been widened, if you identify with one or more of the following groups, this could be for you:

- Families with children 
- Seniors
- People with disabilities
- Migrants and refugees with English as a second language
- Māori & Pasifika youth
- Offenders and ex-offenders
- People living in social housing
- No internet at home because cost is a barrier

Your address will also need to be in an area of coverage and capacity. To check this, just go to the Skinny JUMP website and use the address checker. If you are not in coverage, we can still put you on the wait list.
