We are looking for young people with a passion for helping other young people! Te Takere’s Contact Youth Space is seeking energetic, enthusiastic and driven young people like yourself to run programmes, events and activities in the youth space during weekends and after school. Foxton Library is seeking a library assistant.
Te Takere and Foxton Library are currently recruiting Youth Customer Service Representatives with multiple part time vacancies available. These may be offered as fixed term or permanent position.
As the Customer Service Representative, you will add to the experience of our customers by building positive relationships through the provision of outstanding service and promoting Te Takere's and Foxton Library resources and services. Customers will feel welcomed by your professional and friendly demeanour, as well as the support and guidance you provide customers in their use of technology and various resources. As a contributing team member with a ‘can do’ attitude, you will provide assistance on the various programmes, events, and promotions that we offer.
Successful candidates will be available from 1 February 2017 and must be available to work weekends and afternoons with hours available of 8 hrs + (Levin), 4 hrs (Foxton) per week.
Required skills for the roles include:
- Ability to navigate technology including PCs, Macs, gaming consoles
- Responsibility and integrity
