Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō is proud to present ‘Cats and other Friends’, an exhibition of works by local artist Jan Taylor.
Jan has a long creative history, first developing an interest in drawing while working as a Primary School teacher in the UK. Upon coming to New Zealand in the 1980’s, Jan opened a gallery and continued on her artistic journey. Jan has been a member of the Horowhenua Art Society since 2018.
Jan loves to paint animals and has a particular affinity for cats. Jan loves experimenting with watercolour, pen and wash pastels, acrylics and oils.
