Taraika Master Plan Drop In Sessions

Taraika Master Plan Drop In Sessions.

Taraika (formerly known as Gladstone Green) is a 420ha growth area to the east of Levin. Council have been working to prepare a Master Plan for this area to guide the development of 2,500+ homes, parks, reserves and more.

With the District’s growth expected to continue to grow, it is important we plan how and where growth happens, so we can ensure good outcomes for the future. The Taraika Master Plan helps us to do this.

Have feedback or ideas about the Plan? We want to hear from you! Come along to one of our drop in sessions for more infomation or leave feedback. You can find more information or complete the online survey on the Taraika Master Plan Have your say page on the Horowhenua District Council Website.

Alert Level 2 Restrictions

These drop in sessions will still be going ahead at Alert Level 2 and will follow all government regulations. A QR code will be at the entrance to Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō and the Council Foyer, and social distancing will be enforced with a maximum 100 people in the facility at any one time. Regular cleaning will also occur. We thank you for your patience and look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Taraika Master Plan.
