“Bird Song” an Art Exhibition by Iris Reesby

Art has been a passion of Iris’ since she was a young child. She was fortunate enough when she left school to get a job with a photographer, where she learnt to colour photographs using oil paints.

After returning to Levin just 6 years ago, Iris has been able to immerse herself in her creativity. She has perused painting seriously and when talking with Iris you can see the love she has for her chosen craft.

Iris has exhibited her amazing art work at Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-po previously with Joan Keogh and Jude Batten (both local artists) in their trio group “GeriARTrics”.

This will be Iris’ first solo exhibition with us, and we are very excited to have her here.
