Stepping UP is free community-based training that helps people build their digital skills in small easy steps, in subjects that enhance their work and home lives.
Local Horowhenua artists Brian Haley and Shirley Mycock will be exhibiting their work at the Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-po Exhibition Space. Both artists take inspiration from landscapes and wildlife. Brian has a special interest in dilapidated buildings, withered by the weather and sitting empty for many years.
Tai chi is held at Te Takere most Mondays from 10am
A weekly coffee group for young parents (under 24) to be held in The contact Youth Space Tuesday’s from 10am. Members will then be invited to come have coffee and network in the Youth Space, the key idea is for the parents to build relationships and friendships with each other in a safe, relaxed environment.
